GCN has an Executive Committee and four vibrant committees that report directly to the Executive Committee.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee shall be composed of the Chairman of the Assembly, the Director of the organization, the deputy director and five representatives from member organizations. The six members of the Executive Committee shall belong to different organizations.
Research Committee: Is responsible for identifying gaps that exist in girl child programming in Kenya and recommend researches, studies and surveys that ought to be carried out if the gaps are to be addressed.
Editorial Committee: Is responsible for producing Information on Education and Communication materials for the network. Currently the committee is in charge of publication of the GCN’s quarterly newsletter, "Binti".
Training Committee: Is responsible for identifying areas the members need capacity building in.
Advocacy and Lobbying Committee: The role of this committee is to liaise with the media and members of GCN to front issues that affect the girl child.
